All funeral directors are legally required to publish this Price List for a standardised set of products and services. This is to help you think through your options and make choices, and to let you compare prices between different funeral directors (because prices can vary).



ATTENDED FUNERAL (funeral director’s charges only)                                                         £2,135

This is a funeral where family and friends have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person at the same time as they attend their burial or cremation.



Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements £935

UNATTENDED FUNERAL

This is a funeral where family and friends may choose to have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person, but they do not attend the burial or cremation itself.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.


1This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.


2In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.

Professional Services
A personal consultation meeting to discuss your requirements at home, at our funeral home or
by phone. Information, advice and guidance from the funeral director on all aspects of funeral
services and the associated products. Assistance with completion of statutory documentation,
compiling and placing newspaper announcements, orders of service and creation of an online
obituary. Liaising with third parties including local authorities, clergy, coroners (if applicable),
florists and other associated professionals. The provision of a funeral director and liveried
pallbearers for the funeral. £1,525

Collecting and transporting the deceased
Fully trained staff to admit the deceased into our care from a local address within fifty miles to
our funeral home and initial advice provided on registration and coroners procedures (if applicable)

Embalming

EMBALMING IS NOT CARRIED OUT BY THIS COMPANY. 
Other local firms use the misleading term of HYGENIC TREATMENT which is embalming and does not represent what they want you to believe it means. 

Provision of a hearse
The use of a specialist-built vehicle, chauffeur driven within a 50-mile radius (additional
mileage may be applicable outside this area). This may be from a home address, along a
special route or via multiple locations of meaning. For alternative transport such as a horse
drawn, motorcycle or Land Rover hearse, please speak to your funeral director for a price on
request

The use of a specialist vehicle, chauffeur driven within a 50-mile radius (additional mileage
